As CEO, Josh is focused on delivering an employee/patient experience that meets the unique and changing needs of everyone who walks through our doors. Always looking for ways to improve the services we provide and the interactions between our staff and our clients, Josh has a vision of how care should be and is working toward that goal. He is currently engaged in creating a fully integrated experience for our clients so they can receive complete care under one roof.
Prior to becoming CEO, Josh was a real estate broker, assisting the homeless with obtaining placements in shelters.
Sarah is responsible for the day-to-day business operations of Success Counseling. She ensures our organization runs smoothly and efficiently, taking care of problems quickly. Sarah is also our HR manager and handles all things relating to our employees. A positive attitude is the key to Sarah’s continued success.
Sarah comes to us from the nonprofit marketing arena where her skill sets were used to raise more than $4million in 2019 alone. Sarah has two children and enjoys spending time with her family.
Taneesha is charged with making sure insurance coverage is up-to-date, billing the insurance companies for services rendered, assuring all notes are submitted in a timely fashion and preparing reports. Taneesha takes it one step at a time to assure nothing falls through the cracks and everything runs smoothly.
Taneesha worked her way up from Administrative Assistant to Billing Coordinator and is proud of the work she does and the role she plays in helping people get well and build better lives. Taneesha loves travel and taking pictures wherever she goes.
As an Intake Coordinator, Maria manages the registration process for clients coming to Success Counseling. She is responsible for compiling patient records, gathering medical histories, handling referrals, scheduling, taking insurance information and ensuring everything is up-to-date and accurate.
Maria is also experienced in working with medical records, ensuring they are properly organized. Maria enjoys walking and reading in her spare time.
Maria is the administrative assistant who keeps the office humming. Success Counseling would be lost without Maria’s kind voice on the phones, meticulous filing and superior data entry skills. Maria has been working since she was 13 years old and brings her sunny disposition and positive attitude wherever she goes.
As the Clinical Director for Success Counseling, Natalie is tasked with overseeing the clinical services offered at Success Counseling. She ensures the quality of the services provided is of the highest caliber and in accordance with OASAS regulations. Natalie offers her support to the clinical staff so they, in turn, can support their clients.
Along with being a primary counselor, Kenneth also supervises Success Counseling’s staff by offering guidance and support. With over 17 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his position. Kenneth is passionate about helping his clients find employment and housing as they acclimate to a new life.
Kenneth’s past employment includes working in the communications department of the NewYork Stock Exchange, operating a newsstand, playing semi-pro football and being a police officer. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, working with Celebrate HOPE Recovery, coaching little league and watching sports.
As a Substance Use Counselor, Darlene is tasked with helping clients reach their goals. She conducts Extended Assessments and Enrollments for new clients. Once enrolled, Darlene provides individual counseling using an eclectic style of therapy and strategies to help her clients achieve success.
Darlene has a long history as a counselor, including being a group facilitator and developing an array of successful programs for women and teens.
Darlene has also served as a volunteer at a women’s correctional facility, mentored children in a youth program and participated in a community clean up project. She is currently thinking about going back to school to become a social worker so she can continue to help others in new ways.
In her free time, Darlene enjoys cultural events such as ballet, Broadway shows, music and dancing.
For the past five years, Louis has been helping his clients overcome their substance use disorder issues. He uses a variety of therapeutic skills and techniques to connect with his clients and guide them through recovery. Louis provides them with tools and skills to help them maintain sobriety.
Louis was a hospital phlebotomist prior to completing his CASAC training and is a highly experienced and well respected substance abuse counselor. Louis enjoys working with young adults, coaching sports and playing video games with his grandchildren.
Magdalena brings a positive, upbeat mindset to work each day as she helps clients get through recovery. Magdalena utilizes an array of therapies and strategies to help people with addiction issues reach their goals and maintain them. She’s always there for her clients when they have setbacks and helps them get through any difficult situation.
Nya works with her clients to help them face their addictions head on and get a new lease on life. Nya uses a range of tools and techniques to help them achieve success and maintain their sobriety.
The best piece of advice that Wilbert lives by is to take it one day at a time and that’s what he teaches his clients. Wilbert provides non-clinical support services by relating to his clients through his own personal experiences.
When Wilbert isn’t busy helping people, he can be found casting a line with his fishing pole.
